The Alliance Against Workplace Violence (AAWPV) is excited to share important news about our growing initiative to combat workplace violence across the United States.
As we approach another Workplace Violence Awareness Month in April, we are expanding our outreach efforts and developing new educational resources for organizations of all sizes. Our team of dedicated professionals continues to work tirelessly to provide the tools and knowledge needed to create safer workplaces.
We encourage all organizations to review their workplace violence prevention policies and consider the following steps:
- Conduct a thorough workplace violence risk assessment
- Develop or update your workplace violence prevention policy
- Provide training for all employees on recognizing warning signs
- Establish clear reporting procedures and support systems
- Create emergency response plans for various scenarios
